Welcome to the website of actor Matthew Leonard.

Since graduating from drama school in 2008 Matthew has been involved with many different acting projects, including film, television, theatre, role-play and workshops. Showing his versatility, he has played parts including: Pestilence; a crazed puppeteer; Toad; a rapper; and many more.

Matthew is also a talented writer having helped create a new theatre company in South London, in which all of the work was devised and created, including the unique puppets. The latest venture for Matthew is writing and performing in his own sketch comedy group (Badgers Briefcase). The success of the debut performance (Hen and Chickens in London) led to it being developed into a fortnightly Podcast. All details regarding Badgers Briefcase can be found here.

Matthew has recently made the move back to Edinburgh, where he trained, and is currently seeking representation, as well as looking for new and interesting projects to take part in.
